Volunteer Communications Officer

Kinergy is seeking a volunteer communications officer to manage our social media accounts and monthly newsletter.

What you'll be doing

Create compelling content for our monthly newsletter and social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
Contribute to our social media calendar, planning content in advance and schedule content using Meta Business Suite.
Raise our social profile and keep audiences engaged, monitoring our platforms, and responding to supporters as required.
Monitor social media performance to optimise our content and grow engagement with our online audience.
Flexible position to work hours which suit you but preferably working 1-3 hours per week.

What are we looking for?

Experience in social media management, with a preference for those with experience doing this for a small Charity/Not-for-profit organisation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
An eye for design and creating visually appealing content that aligns with our charities branding and objectives.
Proficient with using Canva, Meta Business Suite, MailChimp, and analytics platforms.

Support a worthwhile cause focused on providing specialist support for survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
Have a significant impact on the awareness of a small local charity, helping survivors to access our services, and new donors/fundraisers to support our charity.
